“Falling for that chair”

“Falling for that chair”

A Poem by Medha
"

A satire poem for a gift, I fall for

"

“Happy birthday” was the day I met her,

Rains and change; mid of October wind.

It was chaotic like me; it’s clear,

I, tired, try to relax, clear thoughts off my mind.

I want comfort; my cool and lovely chair,

Decides to trip me once, depending sometimes twice.

I’ve been warned about it, to be fair,

But I’m good at neglecting things; quite precise.

While on a call, it decides of revenge,

Scratches over sleeves; thankfully no bones affected.

Love the chair and the sudden imbalances; no avenge,

We both have anger issues; perfected.
