Opposites repelled

Failed connection lingers, doubts compatibility, yet a pull remains, towards closure or you.

Failed, smiled contrived,

Last meet went away,

Contrasting, it may seem,

We’re strangers again.

 

The clock ticked through,

Can’t decide if really,

It’s true; maybe we couldn’t,

Couldn’t be compatible.

 

Should have never met,

Never talk; faults incorrigible,

This year, I’m still drawn,

Maybe towards the end, or you.
