Misguided Youth

Misguided Youth

A Poem by winter;lyra

Now
Here we are

The miguided youth
On the lost word
The pink canvas
Of the preached horizon
Slowly turns
Bloody red
As it comes
To our meeting
On the shore
Of enlightment
And I've been here
At the shore
Screaming my name
For a while now

Oh neightbor
Will you not
Come outside
And show me how
To float
Adrift this world

Oh
Our minds' disturbed
And our ways' distorted
That's all I saw
Halfway
Man, I saw it all
It is all about love
And about our faults
And I
Midway between
Myself and you
Believe
(Hoping I'm still alowed to)
That it's time
To offer my blood
As sacrifice
For the new world
So they'll let me die
For the lost word
We once dreamt of

Winter amazing job! I could feel the emotional value in your piece, and I would just like to say it was brilliant.
