A Greater Domain

A Greater Domain

A Poem by winter;lyra

Another day
A dormant domain
Wishing the flames
Would rage and save us all

Another day
A dormant domain
A cursed youth
A locked cage
A day more

Another day
A greater domain
I may fail and collapse
I may dive and never emerge
I may fly and never land
And may rephrase if you allow me to stay

Another day
It's a greater day
A love in disdain
It's a porcelain taste of a distant domain
Now tell me do you stay?
Oh darling when do you stay?
Hey darling do you ever stay?
I wish you'd stay

Another day
A cruel domain
A wingless angel
Seeks my gaze

Another day
I dream on
