flickering lights

flickering lights

A Poem by winter;lyra
"

thinking about renaming it "Harlock of the Stars"...

"
Marvelous!
How the stars align...
Makes it feel all divine...
These eyes are not even mine...
I love you all
Do you love me too?
Matters not...
Love is all-wise...
Wanna make love to the aliens
Provide them with the chosen child
His name will be Harlock
Harlock of the Stars...
What's this feeling?
Makes it all fitting
We're all fitting!
Can you feeeeeeel it? I-
I..

I can't

Sit
Repress the panic
Acess the situation
What situation?
My brain got all flacid
After a quick moment there
Of static noise
The voice told me it'd be fun?
It's okay
No it's not...
Oh lord what's with all the fear and paranoia
Euphoria
My eyes!
I can't see even though I can
Abstract emotions blurr my mind
The ecstasy of a lifetime
Sunshine as I took a walk during nightime
My eyes saw too many flickering lights in the night
But the voice got me under the right one
Or so I thought...

Alright now
We still got time
What time?
Oh God... What time is it now?
O voice what of my youth?!
Promises broken

At the near end of my act
I faintly hear the voice
But my shouts are weak
And my body weaker
My words flicker
My dreams flicker
My vision flickers
Ah! Voice! I hear you!
Where are you?!
Allow me once more that sweet youthfull joy!
No...
Don't walk away...
Who's that at your side...
I flicker
I flicker like all the flickering lights around me

I wonder
If I just fade away
Do I get saved?
