flat moon pools

flat moon pools

A Poem by winter;lyra

in that
flat moon pool
induced in my youth
a fragrance of raisins
just beneath my tongue
asleep in some plea
it couldn't have been
so much of a seam
more of a least known boom of ecstasy

when I held my tie
straightening out my lies
she asked me who was I
I said I was
