A Special Instant

a fun, light hearted poem that describes love at first sight.

It's hard to grapple with the fact,

and even though it's rare.

A boy and girl whom indeed just met 

could have so much to share. 

A connection that is just so quick

to form a sudden bond.

You'd think it was a magic trick,

a flicker of a wand.

Though 'tis not spells or magic tricks

that cause such a spark.

There is no need for wooden sticks

for love to make it's mark.

Most couples take their romances 

at paces that are slow.

It takes many hugs and dances

for their love to grow.

Though some romances are not the same,

in fact they are quite different.

They don't need time to cause a flame,

for so much can happen in an instant.
