you quickly look away.

You hate yourself for blushing,

and hope she looked the other way.

You should asked her,

but then you shouldn't

For will she say yes?

Of course she wouldn't!

You finally decide to give it a whirl,

what could go wrong?

 It's only a girl!

As you approach her desk,

your cheeks start to swell,

as you choke out the words

"May I please borrow your pencil?"
