I dont want to do the wrong thing
when I clearly know whats right
and i dont want to say i love you
but im with you every night

and ive never stopped laughing
since the day you called my name
and i feel like its the first time
i said ive never felt this way

im trying to be a good friend
and give you everything you want
but i dont know how long i can do this
these charades and my heart have fought

and i dont want to say i need you
when im sitting all alone
but nothing else crosses my mind
sending shivers through my every bone

and i cant deny i miss you
when it hasnt yet been a day
but i cant keep openly lying
when i tell you i cant stay

cause theres nothing more i want
than to be tucked up in your bed
