What Got Me Here?

It's dark and I'm bitter

Never leaving again

I'm sad and I hate it

I just don't understand

My heart aches

From something I know not of

And my body is disintegrating 

As we speak

I'm sick and I'm weak

I'm fragile and cold

I've nothing left to offer

I am nothing more

I'll sit alone and fade

in the place my head lies

I'm scared and I'm broken

I can feel no love

I feel nothing at all

But anger and pain

All fury and hate

And all I want to know

Is how I got this way
