If I were immortal
I'd write about you
Just so that you'd
Live forever too

If I were a ghost
I'd stay by your side
To keep you from trouble
In the shadows, I'd hide

If I were a fairy
I'd magic your way
So that you'd get what you want
And be famous one day

If I were a witch
I'd turn you into a wizard
So that you could brew potions
And a thousand elixirs

But since I'm just me
I'll do all in my power
To make you smile more
With every passing hour
