River of time

River of time

A Poem by Melinda F. Shepard

Times, they fly
With each passing day
Plunging my hands into the river of time
I try to hold on to the moments
Before they give away to the flow
My hands are not strong
They wither as time washes my days away
They can not stall the moments of time
