Embrace

Embrace

A Poem by Melinda F. Shepard

Unforgiving light rents the sky each passing day
Giving no shelter to those who dwell there

Let the night overcome you child
Hold your, caress you in its dark embrace

For you are a moonchild
born into the never ending night
Do not trouble your mind
With those who live in the unforgiving light

Come my child into my endless night
