Move

Move

A Poem by Melinda F. Shepard

Tears slip down my cheeks
Washing away my feelings
Past wrongs done unto me
Past wrongs I have done
Regret has loosened its grip
Through these hardened hands I slip
Never again will I let it hold me back
To long I have stood by the wayside
Life, youth, chances passing by
NO MORE
I say No More
It’s time to move forward
