A childs game

A Poem by Melinda F. Shepard

Playing your games with my heart
Teasing and testing it
Chipping pieces away
I let you play your little games
I let you rip and tear my heart apart.
For I can not forbid you to stop
I crave your touch your forbidden love
That burns my soul turning it to dust
