One Day at a Touch

One Day at a Touch

Song

"

11/13/13

I was awakened as if from sleep.

Light shed on countless dreams.

All my threads undone,

Making new seams.

Ghosts come around,

But cannot make it through

Now that you have me

And I have you.

Baby the little things say so much...

It's one day at a touch.

My rose colored glasses

Have gone in the trash.

Those who don't like it

Can kiss my a*s.

My daddy says hello

With his country smile,

Pleased as pie I've found a girl

To drive me country wild.

If nothing else it'll be a rush...

This one day at a touch.

Our stories go unwritten.

God holds the pen.

He puts it in my hand

Sometimes and then

I just have to trust

And let it go.

I don't want to be afraid

Nor hurt anymore,

But I'll not hold back in continuing to learn to love...

One day at a touch

I am always writing, but have not joined a writers' group since The Belle Haven when it was in existence. I loved it and really miss it. So when this site was recommended to me, I couldn't resist. .. more..
