Sleeping Car

Sleeping Car

A Poem by Melobldnfr
"

As the dew

"

08/27/2015

I wake in your arms

As we toss as two

Rousing in a sleeping car.

I smile at my idealistic romanticism

And the house of your pragmatic wings

Spread about me.

I've taken two hours this morning

And reveled in exquisite thoughts

(Finding myself found rather than lost).

I want to give and to be pleasing,

As despite incessant teasing,

Your kindnesses imbue me understanding.

There is such a gentle awakening in your words. These glimpses of loving, being so close and so full of life. Moments the heart always longs for.

Thank you, C. I appreciate your acknowledgement of what I've attempted to capture here.
Don't we all want this? Of course we do it is the difference between love and lust
