SleevesA Poem by MelobldnfrDo you not know How your laughter and light affect me?11/17/15 I stepped away in the bookstore, Not out of any embarrassment of you. Quite the contrary. Do you not know How your laughter and light affect me? You were having a flash. Me adding my warmth to yours Would not have helped. I wanted to help you loose your sleeves, But in that moment - Had my skin made contact with yours - I may have had to finally, finally kiss you. Thus, I stepped away. I thought it best at the moment, But now wish I'd have been more assertive. I could have at least taken your sleeves. © 2015 MelobldnfrAuthor's Note
