It was nothing,

Nothing more than 

A cotton candy wall

Making the pathetic attempt

At shielding either side

From an ocean

 Of sheer destruction

The fatality

Known as human

It's alright to be anti-human...sometimes.
Sometimes when we're battling apes for control of the planet...it's best for humans to lose, sometimes.

I like your poems because you keep them short. There is a certain skill to saying much with just a few words.

For humans to be humble is best. Sometimes we get lost in the feeling of false superiority, we're superior to nothing. Sadly we forget that. Thanks I find I write better short poems than long ones.
