Silence

Hope you enjoy another short poem of mine!

As I watch the tree line

I simply must wonder

how far can you wander

when silence is your only acquaintance?

Silence, the black hole in which we all try to fill

and if we listen to it long enough,

some may consider us ill.

but do not throw away its beauty

for we are all acutely aware

of the secrets silence holds.
