Writing Crime

I feel this way all too many times.

I write and I write

but oh

I've only written one line!

And I've been hunched over this  desk for quite some time!

I am now trapped within this prison of words

oh writing must be a crime!

The blank page can be so intimidating, that's why I avoid it. Instructions for a rice cooker printed out to 90 pages, five different languages. It's so freeing to write on the back of directions in Korean. There's no perfect paper to mess up, it's already garbage. So a very relatable poem.
