The King's Goodbye

This poem is about saying a final goodbye.

 This is our Goodbye

Im sorry but now I must die 

It feels like it all went too fast

I suppose our love could never last

Forever I will miss you 

and never will I be able to kiss you.

Please ,do not cry

Although this is a our goodbye.

This is my first time publishing anything I have written so im somewhat nervous. I would love any tips ,etc.

Short and simple, but powerful. I was once told a point of writing well is to say a lot with very few words. This poem is an example of that. It evoked an emotional response in me also, myself immediately having a scene of my husband saying goodbye as he passes away. Which would suck!
But that means you did a good job writing it. :) Post some more work!
