This poem could be interpreted in so many ways. Even as solipsism. It is somewhat like an observation with subliminal complaint/objection. A reserved wounded pride, if you will. Really liked reading it.

Every felt as if you were outside of your life looking in? As if your life was passing you by and there is absolutely nothing you can do about it? That's what this quote from your poem reminds me of.
