Because I’m happy

I surrender my time to you,

I can forget the night before and do it

All over again.

Because I’m happy

I can believe that who you are now

Is not who you will always be.

Because I’m happy

I enjoy spending my time

Listening to you

Lie to me.

Because I’m happy

I don’t savor the moments

When I’m finally alone.
