Hear meA Poem by Mgfos2
Don't let me slip into the darkness Lord
Please remember Your servant and deliver me with Thy hand Rescue thee from thine iniquities with times and times and a half Give thee strength from Thy joy and I will remember Thee in thy sleep I cannot remember my decision my position is fallen amongst my enemies I have slipped my foot into the pit of desolation I cannot breath and believe that I stand in righteousness That You are with me for I am amidst the company of the wicked And I am judged by my foes torn to shreds is my humility My patience lingers on a thread, my tongue wishes to betray my trust I can't see the light less You shine it upon me Lest You open my eyes I am tempted continuously Precious am I in Your eyes to suffer Precious in Your eyes I am to die Yet Lord hear the cry of Your servant and let me not go silent into the night Do not let the darkness consume my soul the light of my life let it shine Get rid of my flesh and let me just be a spirit that they may know He who sits on high is the Deliverer and Redeemer of wicked that they shall be justified to those who believe That none shall boast of his own right hand in light of God's mercy and justice He shall be praised and worshiped among the oppressed among the poor and among the humble for He shall be their attorney and judge that we shall go to the courts that the accuser may be amazed at the Lord's faithfulness Help me be still my Lord that You shall come like a thief in the night and the darkness shall retreat before You and the wicked shall be judged and all shall come unto repentance I shall Know that YOU Are the LORD my God there is no other and my joy in You shall be renewed and who can say to me will say to my God and no man can stand against the Lord I Love the Lord Do You Know That? That is why I am precious in Your eyes to be broken I am anxious for You my Lord, but I shall wait ever the more that I shall be renewed. Amen. You sleep not God. © 2011 Mgfos2 |
