Still

Still

A Poem by j michael kaisner
"

Her

"
I still chase the pain.
I love you in this way.
A sullen kiss. On the Chesapeake Bay.
You row us out to no end.
It's been five long years.
I am this soul.
A sunken vessel.
Restless where I am.
There's always a distinguished memory.
Of snowflakes and how you breathe.
Five long years and you just won't leave.
