MadameA Story by Michael ThrowerJust a segment of a broader story. How sweet it was of
you to send me such a gift of beauty, for it is rare to see such things within
my society. I will wear it in broad daylight, thus offering its beauty to the brilliant
light that wakes us from sleep. Blessed be the one that gives and expects no
return, for you are of such. What wonderful deeds I have seen come from such
kindness, it brings tears of joy to my eyes. Nothing I could ever possibly recreate
myself.
Madame, I pray you’re well and
living happily despite my absence. When I return I will bring gifts
unimaginable to the populace of Salem. Not material matter, but ideology and
wisdom to share from my experiences in solitude. This letter may be the only
gift I shall return to you, but heed my words. What I shall give back to the world will be worth what it
has taken from me. © 2013 Michael ThrowerReviews
