DreamsA Poem by Michael ThrowerAre we really just living moments within our minds, or do we escape the world and take to the skies?I’ve bade the moon a well “Good-Bye” And left the world within my mind. I carried secrets far away Into the stars I made my way.
Left behind all pain and sorrow Flew across the broken morrow To the sunset I could so see There’s more to learn from mystery.
Without a doubt I fell from sky Wingless, I learned to fly Soaring over broad horizons Feeling the warmth of Light.
The Sun rose high into the sky Woken up by warm surroundings This dream of mine… To this day my heart’s still pounding.
