A Love Poem

Such a mysterious force, love.

Just one glace was all I had;

Thoughts of you were truly bad.

Beauty all around; that glow;

Smile that could win a show.

 

Visage like a painter’s mind;

Hair like music and a rhyme.

Shining like the sun above;

Voice that sings a song of love.

 

Steps of grace and harmony;

Perfume like the autumn trees.

Eyes of fire and the sea;

All in all you have won me.

This was lovely, and playful, and visual, and sound. I very much liked the line- "Visage like a painter’s mind;", visage is a kick a*s word and was perfect in this description.

Love is a funny thing, you never know who, how, when, where, why, or what.. it comes in all shapes, forms, sizes, and afflicts in different ways.. this is quite the tale of being bitten... well done... it is sweet and full of majestic imagery.. :)
