Foretold

A path towards something unknow

Walking past the shadows in the tree,
I saw a light that reflected on me,
It foretold of tales and future events,
The way my mind slowly unbend,
I kept my pase, never once turned around,
My head and my mind quickly looked for a sound,
I prayed and wished that it was not an omen,
A bad thought in the mind of a woman,
In the path i took next,
I slowly realized it was all a jest.

I liked this; Nice job capturing the fear we have of a shadow or the dark, and the realization that it was really nothing at all. Cute poem, great job!
