Raggedy Ann

Raggedy Ann

A Poem by MickeyJoy

Raggedy Ann is still left on her shelf,
She always loved others, but never herself.
She plays all day and she sits all night,
The sun shines through the shutters, but her future isn't bright.

"Who will love you, if you don't love yourself?"
Is a question I hear asked as motivation.

"How will you love yourself, if you're living for others?"
Is the question that deserves more contemplation.
