You're words

Writen from a childs point of veiw with an abusive father.

I just want you to know something

but I can imagine these words ever leaving my throat

when I'm with you face to face

The thing is...

I love you

really I do

you helped give me life

We talk, we laugh, we joke

and I'm in this state of bliss wher I am so happy

to be blessed with you

But then you get angry

and I tumble out of that dreamy cloud and stare in horror

You yell you fume

you hit me

but you're words so simple

so mangled with rage

Hurt more than you cpuld ever know.

Tears stream down my once innocent face

as my childhood

once again slips away

You have a gift of expression that pulls a reader in. Abuse pierces the ethereal heart more when you love the person that hurts you. You are finding a way to express the hurts you feel and that is good but one day you will have to move beyond the abuser and find your way tot eh light. I pray you get there soon.
