Writing Exercise #2

My friend and I did some writing exercises for fun. She has an app that spurts out random words. We decided to try making a free verse poem based on the words. This is the result.

Free verse poem using words: Mission, Safe, Practice, Hit and Exactly

He visits me in my dreams

As if on a mission from God

Exactly when I need him

With a practiced hand

He soothes my soul

The calming prescence puts me at ease

Safe for now

BEEP

Ripped from my dreams

I hit my alarm

Just five more minutes
