Preyed (Blurb)

This is yet another random blurb I wrote which will not have an actual book written (sorry!)

"I'm watching you, my beloved Eleanor." The note said, as I picked it up from my bed; shaking in fear. I swiftly turned around as I felt a pair of eyes burn a hole through my back. "Who are you?" I whispered.

For several days now, I had to go about my daily life with nothing but paranoia and anxiety weighing down on my shoulders; constantly looking back whenever I hear a strange sound. I always thought it was just a hallucination. Until I stumbled into the park in the middle of the night after getting lost. Feeling like the temperature dropped several degrees, I just knew he was there too; watching me, hiding. "I kn-know you're there! Sh-show y-yourself!" I screamed and stuttered into the darkness. I waited as a shiver ran down my spine and goosebumps formed on my arms. CRACK. A shadow, along with a cool breeze, zoomed past me in the corner of my eye. A gasp escaped my lips as I felt a cold breath on the back of my neck. "Boo."
