In a Night like no other

It was the night before mothers day of 2007, and it just came to me, both my son and wife were on a train back home.

There comes a time in everyone's life when cold and alone are the only sentiments we feel.

That time for me was so long ago, yet I still shiver from the cold.

I felt lonesome in a room filled with others.

I was cold in a mid-summers night.

As the night approached in this day like any other.

No other will ever be like this night.

I was meant to meet an Angel.

An angel with hidden wings and disguise.

We locked eyes and fell in love in a second.

Hoping that this second will lead to the rest of our lives

Then in a night like no other.

This angel becomes a mother

A mother like no other...all in this night.

I wrote this for my wife rachel years ago...and I just wanted to share it with you guys
