A few more words

That he doesn't deserve

He could have had her whole life

All of her

At least in make believe.

In and out, 

he pulled 

then let go

Because he didn't want

to break her happy home

If she was free

He would have wanted to be...

For a few days 

a few weeks

a few words

he was everything

The essence of her being

Even if it wasn't real

A few more words,

That he doesn't deserve

Doesn't he know?

He could have had her whole life

All of her

But he chose well.
