Birth

Birth

A Poem by Shaun Rudie

birth

caffeine quake

limbs a-jitter

blast of first breath

add to our crying number

soft skin smell excite the

thrill of germs and

touching, smiling bywatchers welcome

this being of wonder and joy potential

this fresh light
