Dream

 

I had a dream,

That I was an ice cream,

I did scream

In my dream

Being that Ice-cream

 

I wish I had been a bream

Swimming as part of a team

I would have swam up stream

In that dream

 

But I could of been caught and steamed

Or smoked and pouched

And served in Mario’s bar

 

But alas I was only an Ice-cream

Being eaten by a team

That’s why I did scream

In that dream           

I

I agree with the others - some of the best and deepest poems ever written do not rhyme. So, not bad for your first poem, but spread your wings and experiment with some other styles - you'll know when you've found yours. :)
