Heart

Tell me, have you filled your empty gap?

I've forgotten what happiness is like.
All I know is pain and fights.
My heart aches but I don't cry,
instead I wish and smile all the time.

Slowly I start to shape my heart.
Little by little,
I chisel away at the cold hard rock.
My mind will wander from time to time,
but my resolve doesn't falter at all.

I still strive everyday to make others feel happy.
Even though I'm the one who's broken.
Yet I never stop,
I continue to go along with it.

I place my piece of art within myself.
Filling in the gap that made me light.
All I ever wanted was to become happy,
to know the feeling of having a heart.

Author's Note

I wrote this while being submerged in what seemed to be deep thought and just glancing at the lonely rain. I wonder if you guys ever had that moment where you are just inside a space of silence and your words begin to create musical scores of writing..

That's wonderful to hear, I'm glad your life is well. :)
I hope as well too but unfortunately my health is stuck going downhill but y'know as long as I have my poetry and the friends that make me smile, then I'll be just fine.

Not really, since I've finally accepted it but I have Colon cancer.

Ah, I have heard of it. Apparently there are certain chemicals in the plant that can cause internal problems such as abdominal bleeding but thank you friend. That means a lot :]

the science is out amigo, cananbis kills cancer cells. i have seen videos of the cancer cells dying off when exposed. have you heard of the noble prize winner dr budwig. google budwigs diet, it cured many many people. take care and the best of wishes
