Overflowing

Ever have a subconscious feeling that you can't suppress and can't identify the source of?

I feel like crying all the time

Seemingly for no reason

Like there’s this pain in my heart

That I’m not yet aware of.

My chest becomes heavy

The weight travels up to my throat

And before I know it,

My eyes are wet with tears.

I search my mind for the reason why

But nothing comes up.

Without my knowledge,

Something is building inside of me

Or maybe something is missing.

Is my glass empty?

Or is it overflowing?
