Footprints.

Footprints.

A Poem by Krista Everson
"

A poem about dreams and reality working together creating experiences.

"
Fragmented, indecipherable
Alluring and mysterious
Such place speaks familiarity,
Yet an eerie unfamiliarity
One set of footprints traveled to such place,
And returned again with a different set of eyes,
A new vision of experience
Confusion beckons,
Different places,dreams and reality alike,
Working together and coloring in that blank space
A new journey  begins
Where to go from here,
Eyes are closed,
Mind is clear
A new adventure is awaiting.

Perfect description. Your imagery is beyond amazing. And this poem has such a mysterious and soft, floating tone. It's really brilliant. Thank you for writing this.
