Lonely cold nights
And she never forgot
The tenderness when he held her
How can she forget
When he said the nicest things to her
When he treated the best
When he said i love you
What can she do when her little red rose
Suddenly turns black
And her heart gets a little bit broke.
What can she do when the sky once blue
Suddenly turns grey
And her depression attacks her.. again
She can't do anything until she sees the lies
Until she saw his flaws
Not as perfect but death
Slowly attacking her.
Waiting for the moment to truely strike her down
To make her suffer for no apparent reason
Just to watch her crumble on the inside
And have a war within herself
Until she finally falls apart
Until she finally pulls that trigger
Or until she finally scars her pale skin
And watch that red river wrap around her arm
We can only watch this war within
And wish she doesn't do the worst
The door she opened was shut in her face
Drilled shut, do not enter tape over it
Yet other doors are now open.
But can she look at them
Able to go inside to see what waits for her
Or continue to walk down a long asile
Looking at her little feet with her painted nails
And cute shoes
Or can she try to keep her head held high
To see the faces smiling at her
Saying 'hello'
Will she put her life up
Behind a glass window
For all to see again.
Or stay behind bar doors
So no one can touch her
No one to tell her lies
No one to beat her down
No one to hurt her
Even if it means to hurt herself
To lock herself away from all that can hurt
What a poor girl
