The Unsung Warrior

This poem is about a person who struggles in silence.

Only if you had heard

those unsaid words

and unheard worries.

Only if I had told 

those untold weaknesses

and unfulfilled wishes.

Only if you had seen

those unhealed wounds

and that unending war.

I wouldn't have become 

this unsung warrior 

in an unfamiliar world.
