-It�s Where Time Stops-

A Poem by Cove Mitchell

I feel the waves crashing into my soul.
I 'm drowning in this ocean yet I throw my limbs into the pull.
I swim deeper, though the water isn't cool.
Chills crawl throughout my body and I scream to harmonize with the storm I wish would never end. This is where my body and my soul become one.
This is where time stops, yet sadness can be spun.
It's ecstasy divine as my spirit reaches through every pore to grasp the jagged edges of eternity.
The winds slow and the water calms.
The moon makes it's grand entrance from behind thick grey curtains.
I sing with the soft applause of rain returning home.
All is silent and the light is gone...
I need to think of breathing and I continue on.

came across your writing, it's beautiful. This reminds me of my muses which most often surface at times when my mind and body are wreaking havoc on each other. From such chaos we find such peace. look forward to reading more :)
