~Behind All I See~

What is this place I dream of
That lays just behind all I see.
Is it something I have created?
Please tell me it's there.
Tell me how beautiful it is.
How adventure can always be found,
How you can sleep soundly on the edges of cliffs,
How you can drift across seas without a stroke,
Where smiles don't mask sadness,
Where someone thinks of me with love,
Where I can look straight at the sun,
I don't want my hands to tell me of this any longer.
I want to see.
If I must remember where I came from,
Let it be as I would a nightmare.
Let me never return.
Let me live forever in this place.
Even if it's only a world I created...
Even if i'm truly alone.
This is my true home...
