A Poem by modtoddinc

I’m just a standard,
living on the floor,
trying to forgive myself
from what I’ve done before.

Nothing special sounds like me,
simply just a wanna be,
but the fire burns within the tree.

Across the lines,
Burning the pines,
throughout all times.

Through the ashes,
history passes away…
history passes away.

And, I still stay.
