Shakespeare and consequences.

Shakespeare and consequences.

A Poem by Modern Helot
"

Shakespeare makes me cry, and sometimes there are social consequences.

"
Sometime I think about reading Shakespeare out loud to you
But then I reckon that it'll make me cry
Make my heart yearn faster and deeper
Make my love burn harder and stronger
Make my belly ache because I'm not used to crying
My face will be all swelled up and red
My nose will begin to sting
Then those beautifully crafted words
Will get muffled among the snot and tears
And there will have been no point to it at all.

Author's Note

Modern Helot
Why is there no genre 'Social Anxiety'? This poem is kind of humorous, but I guess that depends on your humour.
