A poem about waking up to someone you love

 

 

 

Waking up 2 u…

 

I wrap my legs up into yours

Just so if you leave I can go with you

I sometimes watch you while you sleep

I lie awake in awe of you

I can’t believe you’re here with me (once again)

I sometimes dream that we are inseparable

That we are in love

And that the world is jealous

Because they want  what we have

But not willing to work or sacrifice for it

The very scent of you arouses me

I love to hear you breathe next to me

The sounds of a peaceful man sleeping

What a beautiful noise to my ears

Love in it’s purest form (you)

Waking up 2 u

Is like waking up in heaven sharing a cloud

You on one side and me on the other

Our bodies wrapped into one another becoming almost like a cocoon

Transforming into a beautiful butterfly (flying free)

Waking up 2 u is bliss….
