Hurting..

A poem of longing!

Hurting (but I don’t blame you)

Yes today I still feel the pain

from yesterday

Its as if the wounds are never going to heal

So I pray for the strength to hold on

For one more day (fighting my suicidal thoughts daily)

I am hurting (but I don’t blame you)

I blame all the men

Who don’t hug their sons

Never telling them they are loved

Never being there (emotionally)

Sometimes not there (physically)

So we become men

who don’t know how to love

who don’t know how give or receive

We just go thru life breaking hearts

Scared to admit our heart is broken as well

I am hurting (but I don’t blame you)

I blame myself for allowing it!!
