        I couldn’t sleep last night.  Whenever I close my eyes at night, I can see his face, his hollow stare, piercing me.  I spent the whole night searching through the notes I had taken home.  There were no leads to be found.

        My wife advised me to take a break from the case.  I can’t.  It’s sticking to my mind.  I can’t find anything else able to preoccupy me.
